French Chateau

Several months ago we finished work on this beautiful design job for a client in Newport Coast's Pelican Hill community. Although we weren't able to decorate the home to our turn-key Fari standard, the French Chateau features extensive hand-crafted details from floor to ceiling that are truly beautiful.

Wow!! It looks like a castle from the book I am reading "The Other Boelyn Girl" or some kinda fancy hotel or something.

Who lives in these places? I mean really?

Wow...where do I sign? J/K Even if I had that kinda moola I'd probably build something a little more kid friendly, but it's nice to dream of what it would be like to live in such a place.

P.S. You have way too much fun for your own good...make sure to give me a ring when you're in town!!

That's my absolute favorite time period for architecture and interior design. Every little thing is crafted with the utmost skill showing perhaps extravagance, but to me revealing even more a frame of mind educated, focused, and polished. If what is said, that man imitates the interior design and architecture around him, than I'd want to be most definitely in this setting.

I am always amazed by the work that you do in the design world, Aubrey! I love to peek in on how the other half lives! (That's all I'll ever be able to do is "peek!")

I love your posts! Never a dull moment!
