I Never Met A Color I Didn't Like

Sometimes I feel much like the French impressionist painter Claude Monet when he said "Colour is my day-long obsession, joy and torment." I love color! Coming from a girl that never colors her hair and usually skips the lipstick in the mornings this may sound a bit confusing, but its a part of who I am and what I do. At work, I play with it all day and sometimes it consumes me far past my office walls. Wednesday evening an old roommate and great friend invited me over to help her and her husband solve a color dilemma. I brought with me my trustee fan deck and an hour and a half later, problem solved. There's no query a little color can't fix!

"Of all God's gifts to the sighted man, color is holiest, the most divine, the most solemn." - John Ruskin

I agree. Great quote by John Ruskin! I've always believed there is no better camera to detect the brilliant colors of life than the human eye...how grateful I am for my gift of sight!

Wow, Aubrey! You (and your mom) can really say it with heart and feeling! At my age (nearly 69) I am just coming out of my "blah," everything white stage! Ty Pennington has inspired me to also love color! Too bad I don't have anything to paint!

Love to you!
