"Flowers are love's truest language."

Valentine's Day is coming which means De La Rose is getting ready for their busiest day of the year! Wednesday morning the girls in the shop were up at 3am to be the first shoppers at the LA Flower Mart to guarantee the best blooms for our V-Day arrangements. In the meantime, I tended to the store in Laguna and placed orders for the BIG DAY!

While I was working on some arrangements, the cutest old man dropped in to place an order. He brought with him his wife's favorite vase and asked that we fill it with a creative mix of all his wife's favorite flowers. I was so impressed that he knew the names and colors of each and every one of her favorite flowers. He then handed me a personal card to include with the arrangement addressed to "My Valentine & Sweetheart." I was so touched! Made me hope to find a man who will call me his "sweetheart" even after 50 years of Valentine's Days together. So CUTE!

Ahhhhh! Will you tell Dad to do that? Of course, now I will know that it wasn't really his idea, but that is so sweet!!! By the way, my favorite flower is a daisy in case he doesn't know already!!! :) I know I'm so simple!

Oh that cute story made me just ooze old people love! Let's all be like that when we're only able to wear shoes from Naturalizer!

So sweet!!! You aren't gonna be working on V-Day are you?

Mom-Unless you attach that favorite flower to a golf score, he's gonna forget. We'll all have to remind him every year ;)
