THE BACHELORETTE: The Men Tell All

Monday night the boys of this season's THE BACHELORETTE reunited for the most anticlimactic episode of "The Men Tell All" in the history of the show. I can honestly say I tuned out about half of it. Partially because I was watching at Cora's house and cuddling her 5 day old baby (so cute...pictures soon to come). But honestly, no Reid? No Wes? The Man Code? You've got to be kidding me. Dave, you are officially the world's biggest dirt bag. And in case you're wondering, YES! I am absolutely ecstatic to see my darling Reid again next week! I knew he'd come back.

Now on to bigger and better things....WHO TURNED IN AN APPLICATION FOR ME TO BE ON THE NEXT SEASON OF THE BACHELOR? Very Funny. I'm actually still trying to determine its authenticity. What do you guys think? Check out the email I received this afternoon:

Dear Aubrey,

Thank you for your interest in applying for ABC's hit TV show, "The Bachelor". We received an online submission on your behalf and would like to consider you for the upcoming season. If you are not already familiar with the premise of the show, "The Bachelor" is a dating-type show where 1 lucky bachelor gets to choose among 25 gals for an opportunity to find true love.

We are holding a casting event in the Los Angeles Area and would like to invite you out to meet with a casting producer in person.

- Please complete the attached application and bring with you to the casting.
- Also, please bring photos (full-length shots, recent vacation pictures, etc.) The more, the better! Please write your first and last name on the back of the photos.

*Please note: Taping of the new season is scheduled to begin in October, in Los Angeles, for six consecutive weeks; exact dates are TBD. Please let me know if you will not be able to commit to the taping schedule.

Okay, so what do you think? Is this thing for real? I seriously think it's so funny that someone would actually take the time to send in an application on "my behalf." Whoever you are, Bravo!

Ok, number one, so with you on the snoozer of a show last night. Halfway through, we were all pretty annoyed and asking ourselves why we were watching it. Let's just say, we fast forwarded Dave a LOT.

Number two, um, stop it, that's amazing! I feel really good about you showing up to the casting call! I want to hear all about it! I love that someone submitted an application for you. This is my favorite.

Last night was a joke. Could they drag it out any longer? Wow. Last week I'd suspected Reid coming back and hearing he was MIA last night due to a "prior engagement" sealed my suspicions. Can't wait to see him next week!

And honestly Aubrey, if you walked into a casting event for the Bachelor armed with your resume, dressed all cute the way you always look and flash that gorgeous smile---they'd pick you up in a second! I have no doubt. Then all the girls would hate you cause you've got it going on and they'd be jealous. Good luck with that! lol

Sorry, I didn't do it! But it sounds like a good joke...
hints that it could NOT be real...
1. Don't think they would use the word "gals" in a professional manner.
2. You must submit a video tape before the application process, so someone forgot to include that prior to your receiving the email -unless they submitted one without your participation in a video - and that could be embarrassing.
3. They wouldn't ask for "vacation" photos...
But pretty good fake-out I'll have to admit.
I wonder if anyone will ever confess!
Good luck...

I AGREE with you that last night was absolutely horrible! I was almost annoyed I wasted my time with that episode.

But that is HILARIOUS that someone submitted an application for you and that they want you to bring pictures of yourself! I love it. You should totally do it! We were joking yesterday about how if Jake's the bachelor I want to go on the show :) Do it!! You would be AWESOME!

Are you for real this time..I can recall a little prank that you played awhile back about going on the Bachelor..so if this is real I think you TOTALLY should go on it!

Aubs - you are way too good for the pukes they cast on this show! Can you even imagine that first night - the "cocktail party" - all the dumb drunk girls falling all over themselves and making complete idiots of themselves on national television to impress some guy they don't even know yet? You would have to use serious self control not to slap every last one of them! Sorry, this season has truly disgusted me! Wes in the top 4 - REALLY????? Noone's THAT naive!

haha that is too funny! It would be fun to see how far you could get on the show...if it was all for real...

Darling Aubrey,

You were submitted for the bachelorette but I told them they had to do it mormon style for you too agree but that it wouldn't be hard for them to find willing Mormon participants in Utah, Arizona, California ect. I told them it would be the best rated bachelorette bc everyone loves Mormon dating drama and apparently they agreed! I told them about you and just sent them real good pic of you off your blog. So they know if they pick you they have to pick Mormon boys. I'm still a little embarassed to put a name to this. But this is no joke. You are quite the catch and its not right that you havent been snatched up yet! I even warned you that you were
nominated a few posts back. And they may have asked for vaca photos bc I gave them the link to your blog so they could see how darling, fun, and smart you are! Don't be freaked out and go go go!!

Dear Anonymous,

Wow! I'm flattered that you'd like to nominate me to be on The Bachelor. And you must know me well to know that I would NEVER consider actually going on the show if it weren't done "Mormon Style." Maybe I'll show up for the last hour of auditions, just for the fun of it. If anything, it'll give me something funny to blog about. :)

I love that someone nominated you, it would be fun to watch! I didn't want to watch the show anymore when she sent Reid home. It sounds like he's coming back and may be the MAN! Ooh, I sure hope so.

If you are coming up to LA you have to stop by on your way home and tell me all about it.
