THE BACHELORETTE: Failure To Launch

What a night! Monday evening I joined a few of my new BFFs here in Mesa, Arizona for a little gathering to watch ABC's The Bachelorette. I seriously wish I could watch with these girls EVERY week! Not once did they roll their eyes at my snide remarks, shush my screams and giggles, or laugh when I fell helplessly to the floor at the dismissal of my man Reid. I still cannot believe she sent him home! Poor form Jill. I guess I'm now Team Kiptyn...again...by default.

Okay, so for the recap:

KIPTYN: Before we talk about Kiptyn, can we please talk about that horrible-awful-no-good-very-bad-long-black-romper? Come on Jill! You are so much better than that! As for Mr. Kiptyn, it worries me that Jill is blinded by his good looks and is missing all the red flags, like when he announced that one of his greatest flaws in a relationship is having one foot in and one foot out. Not a good thing Jill. I really don't see Kiptyn settling down anytime soon. Although I do think he's the better bet over Ed.

REID: I miss him already! He was so cute, so romantic, and I love that he was sportin' Chucks on his last date with Jillian. I think she definitely made a mistake in letting this one go. I know some of you think he was weird, awkward, and quirky, but I think he was absolutely charming. I mean, he was the most realistic about the whole thing and had his head on straight. Well, except for when ABC conned him into getting in that bathtub with Jillian. Yikes Reid!

ED: Seriously Jill? I mean seriously, you kept Ed over Reid? Where is your brain? News flash: ED LIKES BOYS! He really needs to leave the short shorts wearing and leg crossing to the ladies. And what was up with that lavender suit. Come on! For real? As for the overnight date, well, we're not even gonna go there. We'll just say I was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed for him. And I realize that she might pick him because he claims he's already in love with her and wants to get engaged to her at the end of all this, but come on! I just don't believe someone can really truly fall in love on this dumb show. Especially NOT when she's sleeping with two (or more) other men. But to each his own, I guess.

Let's start getting excited for next week's "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All." I'm not usually a fan of this episode, but for some reason this season I can't wait to see the freaks out in full force.

I was going to just say "No Comment" to this past show - but like usual, I can't help myself! I have two, OK maybe three comments:
1. The "MAN-KINI" killed it for me too!
2. No more "MIAMI VICE" outfits please!
3. Could those "TOO BIG" diamond earrings droop any
further down Jillian's earlobes?
OK 4. Seriously Jillian - ED over REID?!

I jumped in late on this season, but I'm glad I've tuned in. I knew you'd have something to say about Ed! I, too, am EXTREMLY looking forward to "the men tell all". I always find these episodes entertaining.

Normally I am not a Bachelorette fan, only The Bachelor, but this season has changed me!! How can you not get sucked in when theres if-y men in short shorts, liars and schemers, crazies and gents falling in (love?) with a crazy Canadian. Not to mention getting to watch it with a bunch of super fun girls!! love this show :) Can't wait until next week!!

Hahaha Aubrey your posts on this show seriously crack me up. They are so DEAD ON! My whole body cringed when I watched him cross his legs, and I almost tossed my cookies at the very end when he was talking about his "abs" - WHAAAT? Oh man. That just killed it for me. If she actually picks him in the end, this whole season will be such a letdown for her. I mean, all this fun and then....... ED? Ugghh. She won't do it, it HAS to be Kiptyn. Are you going to be in town for the finale? xoxo

I haven't watched the date parts of the show because I was KIND OF BUSY that night having a baby--haha! BUT I am so sad about Reid being gone. SO BUMMED! I can't wait to watch it online :) Go to my facebook to see the picture Justin took of me watching it during labor. I can't wait for the men tell all show...she's gonna bash wes!!!!

I've read so many columns about what happens on the MTA. I don't think it's going to be as juicy as we all think. For one thing, Wes isn't even going to be there!

And I don't care who judges me... I loved Ed's tank top and short shorts. And his sportscoat was baby blue, not lavender. There, I said it.

I was definitely a Reid lover, so I guess I'm an Ed lover... by default, because I kind of can't stand Kippie. I read some inside info and I hear that you have some info of your own... looks like we need to compare notes.
